Boston sent seven players to Vancouver for the Canadian National Doubles Tournament from April 19-22nd. This was the largest number of players sent from any US city.
We have three national champions and great showings in every division:
Men’s:
40+: Charlie Humber & Chris O’Brien – lost in semis, finished 4th
60+: Sandy Tierney & Sean McDonough (Toronto) – Champions
65+: Malcolm Davidson & Brian Murray (Toronto) – Champions
70+: Tom Poor & Molson Robertson (Toronto) – lost in semis, finished 3rd
70+: John Brazilian & Clark Amos (St. Louis) – Finalists (lost the finals – 15-14, 15-14, 15-14)
75+: Lenny Bernheimer & Bart McGuire (Denver) – Champions
