The US Squash doubles season kicks off with the 2015 U.S. Mixed Doubles Championships returning to the Round Hill Club in Greenwich, Connecticut, October 23-25.
The 2015 Mixed Doubles marks the third year in a row Steve Scharff and Greenwich’s Round Hill Club have held the event. The Club will host a cocktail party Friday night and a casual dinner Saturday night during the tournament.
Last fall, Natalie Grainger & Randy Lim claimed the top honors against Scharff & Meredeth Quick. Philip Anstey & Kathy Ewald did not drop a game on their way to the B division title, which included four married couples and a father-daughter duo.
In the 40+ division, World Doubles mixed gold medalists Stephanie Hewitt & Dave Rosen defeated Diana & Joe Dowling to win the title, while in the 50+ Sara Luther & Thomas Harrity topped the draw.
2015 is the second year that this U.S. Championship has been hosted in the fall. Registration is now open for the country’s best partnerships–old and new–in the Open division, as well as the 40+ and 50+ age divisions, and B division.
