Everyone,
As you all know our good friend, Rachid Regragui, is bravely fighting the good fight against an illness none of us understand. Rachid has been my friend for as long as I can remember, and I think all of you feel the same way about him; he’s a brother, a mentor and a friend to everyone that comes in contact with him, and once you’ve been introduced you know he is someone you can count on forever to help you, to challenge you on the squash court, to be there when you need someone to talk to, or to just be a friend for life. No matter how intense the competition got on the court, you always knew Rachid would be a gentleman. There are few like him in the Squash community or really anywhere.
To honor Rachid and to try and relieve just a bit of the stress of what he is going through, I have organized a squash tournament, “Rally for Rachid”, I hope you will attend, play, visit with Rachid and his family and friends and maybe even compete mightily to show him your support. The details of the tournament are below. Every penny we raise will go directly to Rachid to offset the extraordinary expenses he has incurred as result of his situation and you can be sure that once he has beaten this insidious adversary, he will be back on the court, grateful for your help and ready to give it back to you in spades like he always has. Please join me in helping my good friend. This tournament will mean more to him than you can imagine in this time of need.
