Timmy Brownell wins US Junior Open

Timmy Brownell v.Yehia Essam 2015 US Jr. Squash Open QuarterFinal

Timmy Brownell of Belmont, a junior at Belmont Hill School, recently won the U19 draw of the US Junior Open, held in December at Yale. The tournament, which included players from around the world, is considered one of the most prestigious events in junior squash. Brownell also finished 21st in the U19 draw at the British Junior Open, often considered the world championship of junior squash.

Brownell was also recently profiled in the Boston Globe, along with Paul Mathieson of Dover Squash and Fitness.
